There are copper, iron, aluminum, stainless steel, alloy and so on. Copper rivet is a part that connects the riveted parts by its own deformation or interference in riveting.And Common have semi round head rivet, flat head rivet, countersunk head rivet, semi hollow rivet, solid rivet,  step rivet, etc. Lantern folding rivets are generally made of various grades of aluminum alloy, with good corrosion resistance, used in harsh climate environment. Lantern rivets form three fold feet during use to disperse the clamping force of the rivets on the product without damaging the riveted material. Lantern rivets can also be used for riveting larger shapes.
       Rivet head rod can be made of tungsten alloy material.  Tungsten alloy rivet ejector provides maximum available density.  The corners of the rivet head bar are ground flat and the working face is polished for easy use.  This helps to place the deformable buck tail.  Note: Do not use vise to clamp rivet tops unless the jaws of the vise are fitted with a protective cover to prevent damage to rivet tops. 

What kind of rivet are there? 

       Commonly used are R type rivet, fan rivet , pull core rivet (hit core rivet), tree rivet, half round head flat head half hollow rivet ,solid rivet, countersunk head rivet, pull core rivet, hollow rivet, these are usually connected by their own deformation is less than 8 mm with cold riveting, greater than this size with hot riveting.But there are exceptions, such as the brand on some locks, which are riveted using the interference between the rivet and the lock hole.
